How good could the Knicks be?

The fact that Jeremy Lin has to deny the rumor that he is dating Kim Kardashian is absurd. The kid seems humble and even-keeled, and all he wants to do is play basketball. I think the New York Knicks will evolve into becoming a force in the east, and much of it will hinge on how well Lin plays. He will free up Carmelo on the wing and Amare in the post, and can run the pick-n-roll with an excellent alley-oop target, Tyson Chandler. If JR Smith can become the knockdown shooter the Knicks need, New York could become a serious threat in the East.
