100 Most Influential

What is most interesting to me about the list of the 100 most influential people in the world, according to TIME magazine, is the process of whittling down the 7 billion people in the world today to just 100 on this list. The influence of no two people is the same, and for the magazine to give a unique take on each of the 100 is fascinating. There is a guest writer for each person on the list to obviously give a glowing review, but there are plenty of dissenting opinions that won't make the magazine.

Take Scott Walker for example.

Some people think he's the scum of the earth and want him out of office. Some people think he's presidential material. NJ governor Chris Christie, who penned the homage to Walker, falls into the second category.

For good or bad (depending on, Walker is influential, but someone like Beyonce on the cover? A little different.

Barack Obama, Pope Francis: yes, very influential.

Miley Cyrus? You tell me.
